Sunday School is the heart of our Children’s Ministry. The children are taught by adults who love the Lord, who are living by faith, and who desire to teach children to know the Lord and to walk with Him.
In Sunday School, children are taught at their own level to worship the Lord. They hear exciting missionary stories and have fun playing Bible review games. They often receive prizes for attendance, bringing visitors, learning verses, and participating in the Sunday School program.
An AWANA program is provided for children ages three to sixth grade. With a fun and exciting environment, children are encouraged and rewarded for memorizing scripture and partaking in service opportunities. When coupled with a game time and challenge time, it makes for an evening of fun and excitement for the children. AWANA meets from September through June. During the summer we have a Wednesday night Bible Club where the children play games, learn a Bible story, memorize a verse, and enjoy an ice cream treat.
The Harvest Party and Spring Festival are two children activities that highlight the fall and spring. The children have fun playing games, making crafts, jumping in the moon bounce, and entering the pie eating contest or the watermelon eating contest.
Every summer we have Vacation Bible School. During this week the children come nightly to hear the Word of God preached, make crafts, play games, learn verses, and earn prizes. Many decisions are made during this week to receive the Lord as Savior and to live for Him.
